About The Karting Classic...

Although the Commercial Point Karting Classic is only in its second year, street kart racing in Commercial Point, Ohio is a long standing tradition.  Go-Karts have been racing these streets for over 40 years.  With the first race held in 1968 and continuing sporadically throughout the years, 2013 will mark the 21st race held on the streets of Commercial Point.

Why Commercial Point?
Many people ask why would you have an event like this in Commercial Point. Most even ask ‘Where is Commercial Point?’. Don’t worry, you won’t hurt our feelings.  All it takes is one time to experience our community and you will understand.  Commercial Point is one of the friendliest and most supportive communities in central Ohio, providing a one of a kind venue for holding a street kart race.

What does the future hold?
The future of the Commercial Point Karting Classic is bright.  The Commercial Point Racing Foundation was established in 2012 to help preserve our history and lay the foundation for an annual street kart event for many years to come.  With the success of the 2012 event, a new renaissance in karting has begun in Commercial Point.
